What is Hospice Care ???

The Northern Illinois Hospice Association (NIHA)
provides superior, compassionate multidisciplinary
care for dying people, respectful support for their
families and friends, and bereavement services.

Hospice care exists as a choice for patients with a
prognosis of six months or less who have decided to
no longer pursue curative treatments.

Grief counseling services are available to anyone who
has suffered a loss due to death of a loved one.
As the oldest & most experienced hospice in
Northwestern Illinois (NIHA) has been providing
compassionate care to your friends and neighbors
in Boone & Winnebago counties since 1979.

Anyone can make a referral to Hospice,
